Creekside Village Newsletter - December, 2019
Hello Neighbors
– we wish you a very happy holiday season.
As 2019 comes to a close, we want to offer our sincere thanks to all of
our neighbors and volunteers that make Creekside such a great place to live.
Please Note! Effective January 1, 2020:
·
Monthly HOA fees increase to $440.
· [Gate code has been changed. Check your email.]*
Creekside Caroling. Christmas Caroling will begin at 1:30 on
Saturday December 21st! Remember
to turn on your house lights if you want a visit from the Creekside Carolers. We
thank the Carolers for braving the cold to bring this touch of joy to our
community. Carolyn and Dick Walsh will
host refreshments for the carolers afterwards. Chair: Mary Robbins and Carolyn Walsh
Parking Rules. While the holidays bring
us joy as we host family and friends, they can bring increased traffic and
unwanted guests—car prowls and residential theft. Creekside’s parking rules prevent crime and promote pedestrian safety year
‘round. Please remember:
· Overnight Parking is restricted to
garages, common area guest spaces, and the Recreational Vehicle Facility (RVF).
Residents may park overnight
on garage ramps only for short periods in order to accommodate
guests or special needs and shall notify the BOD in these cases.
· Guest Parking is available for non-residents
only, including service providers, and is limited to two-weeks, unless
otherwise permitted by the BOD.
· Common Areas. Parking in
common areas is restricted to guest spaces.
Parking is not permitted on grass or in roadways. Vehicles may not extend beyond curbs and
driveways, obscure sight lines, or otherwise inhibit use of roadways.
Tree Removal News Update. In early January, the Association
will tag certain trees for removal. This
includes the dead cedar trees west of Creekside Circle and trees that are
growing into roof systems, eaves, gutters and downspouts, intruding onto
siding, lifting drainage pipes, or otherwise presenting a threat to
infrastructure. Residents will receive
more detailed information as the project develops. Contact
Leads:
Norm Culbert and Craig Ilman
Board Opening. Dick Walsh will leave the
Board after the annual meeting in February.
Thank you Dick! We are looking
for a new board member. Getting involved
is the best way to protect your investment and serve our community. We are all in this together. Please let us
know if you are interested and available to serve. Contact Lead: Dick Walsh
The next Board Workshop is
Tuesday, January 14, 2020 (9:00 AM at the Methodist Church) and the Board of
Director’s meeting is Thursday, January 23, 2020 (8:30 AM at the Senior Center). Mark
your calendars now for the Annual Meeting on February 20, 2020.
Neighbors,
we hope your holidays are merry and bright.
Peggy
Noethlich, BOD Secretary
